Driver door started to have a snapping/popping sound when opening and closing the door. Sound got worse and felt harder to close. Before bringing it to my mechanic i did a google search of the problem. Found out it to be a known problem and toyota didn't call for a recall but extended the warranty to two extra years (5 years) or 100,000 miles. Mileage on my van is 70,000 miles but 5 years 9 months old, 9 months pass…

Power passenger back door has ceased to function. Thee is a way to turn off the power door, but the manual door is too difficult for the children to operate, they must enter and exit on the drivers side rear door...toyota wants 2300 to repair! I had previously paid 800 to repair, but they claim that it's a different set of parts...and did not fix the problem. *tr

2004 toyota sienna van drivers side sliding door rear latch has become detatched and the door won't close. Not only is this a safety hazard while driving but the locks will not engage with an open door. *tr

I bought a 2004 toyota sienna in march 2004. August 2010, i noticed that the driver's side door did not close smoothly & noticed that the door stop (midway between hinges) was busted. I bought the part & thought this was all that needed to be replaced. It got really bad really fast to the point that the door made a lot of popping when i opened & closed it & it was becoming difficult to open & close. On august 17th i…

Tl*the contact owns 2010 toyota sienna. During a routine oil change the dealer noticed that both rear tires were worn to the metal wire and that they could fall apart at anytime. The dealer informed her that the rear member bar was too long and was for a different vehicle which caused the tires to be out of line. The dealer agree to replace the rear member bar but could not confirm if that would correct the failure.…

We bought our first minivan - a toyota sienna xle 2011- barely two weeks ago from toyota laurel, md. The second day, the steering started to creak when making turns. Now, the trunk door has stopped working and the local new jersey dealership dch toyota is telling us it has been "bent". They are refusing to fix it or replace the vehicle and are telling us our insurance company needs to pay to fix it. The door is not…

The 2005 toyota sienna i own was under 100000 miles when i began to noticed the unusual noise from driver side front door, and later became click sound when door was opened as well as closed. I did not receive any notification about the warranty extension on this problem. I strongly feel this is a car design issue instead of material as i checked through available information to me that, this issue only happened to…
