Tl* the contact owns a 2011 toyota sienna. when the contact entered the vehicle while holding onto the passenger side roof handle, the handle fractured. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that nothing could be done. the failure mileage was approximately 86,000.
Both back sliding door cables snapped. have been advised the motors siezed causing the cables to snap. neither door works. driver's side door can only open 6 inches. this is a safety hazard in event of emergency. my children can not get out of the car and can not operate the one door able to manually open. fix has been estimated at $1900 per door. toyota knows this is an issue. they issued a customer warrantee enhancement for it but it has expired. they refuse to reopen it. there has been a recall for this on the 2004-2009 model year and currently a recall for this for 2011-2018 models but not the 2010. there are hundreds of toyota sienna's on the road with this issue and it is completely unsafe and totally unacceptable that toyota refuses to take responsibility for the 2010's and cover the costs to fix the problem.
Weld on fuel door is broken, is this a defect in the manufacturing.fuel door will not close properly. i purchased used and i noticed it was broken first time i purchased gas.
3 issue with 5tdkk3dc2fs[xxx] toyota sienna 2015 le van *1 - seat belt - 2nd row driver side seat belt cannot be wear. cannot wear seat belt as the red part that fastens the seat belt clip does not work. unable to fasten seat belt in the 2nd row seat behind driver. 2* at 30,000 miles with proper careful driving brake lights turn on in rain - all the lights start to flash in dashboard. *3- front driver side bumber where it meets the fender does not hold bumper properly. the clips that hold bumper are not made properly. i have seen at least 4 toyota sienna with same issues at different places of same model / design. when push back to fix the number it stays and after short 5-10 miles drive it comes back loose again. so i have to keep pushing the bumper back. i have the van for over a year now. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tt

As soon as i got home after purchasing my 2019 toyota sienna se, i noticed the popping noise coming from both front door hinges. i guess i missed that popping noise when i took the delivery of the car at the dealership. the popping noise can be heard every time either front doors hinges are in motion. i have read that many of the previous year toyota siennas has the same popping noise issue due to the defective door check pockets.
When opening the passenger-side power slider door while the car was on and parked in the driveway, the sliding cable snapped and is currently hanging from the side of the body. i cannot use the power buttons to open the door automatically, nor can i manually open the sliding door.
The rear passenger door recently began to open on its own randomly when driving, something may be wrong with the latch, it is not hooking/engaging to the car frame. my wife made a left turn yesterday and the passenger rear door slid open, luckily my 7 year old son was buckled in. also, the cables to the driver side rear sliding doors popped off about a year ago, believe it was due to rust/corrosion...
