Engine
All the oil leaked out due to a faulty oil cooler pipe. The part is faulty plastic and toyota knows this is a defective part. They did an "enhanced warranty" instead of a recall. This happened in my garage when the vehicle was stationary. Messy and dangerous.

Engine · Fuel/Propulsion System
When the car is at idle speed, such as waiting for traffic to clear for a left turn, the car will just die without warning. It will usually restart right away, but this has nearly caused a collision. The dealership in bellevue, wa says that's a normal thing if the car isn't properly maintained. I have brought the car to that dealership for all but one of the maintenance intervals, and the only other time was for…

Pulled out into oncoming traffic and vehicle hesitated and would not accelerate. Dash lights came on and car stalled. Attempted to crank van and it restarted but would barely move with the accelerator pressed fully. Had to call a tow truck to have it delivered to the dealer. I called toyota road side assistance number and 2.5 later no one showed up. Called again and demanded a different tow company respond and 30…

Had an engine oil leak on 2015 toyota sienna. Toyota deal diagnosed and replaced timing cover gasket. Still leaked, second repair by dealer was said to be to hairline crack in upper oil pan before repair authorization ( after third repair and my complaint) dealer stated it was really upper oil pan gasket - changed story). Third repair was to replace crankshaft seal and serpentine belt. Toyota dealer stated upon…

Our 2016 toyota sienna spontaneously caught fire while parked in our driveway after returning from a short drive. After pulling into our driveway and shutting off the ignition, my wife smelled smoke as she was exiting the parked vehicle. This smoke intensified and quickly accelerated becoming an engine compartment fire. She called for me & then called 911; but in the brief moments it took me to grab a fire…

I pulled onto a highway and reaching about 25 mph the 2019 sienna hesitated for at least 10 seconds as if it was not getting gas. I pressed the gas wanting to get out of the way of traffic and it jumped slightly but would not go. Then it kicked in with a few hesitations and took off. Another 100' or so, it did it again. Prior to this i had already brought it to toyota complaining that there is a hesitation when the…

I own a 2006 toyota sienna le with only 26500 miles on it. I was driving my car on the highway doing 45 miles per hour on a dry pavement on tuesday 09/03/2019 around 6:40 pm and at a sudden moment the vsc light started flashing, warning sound came on, the car applied the brakes on its own hard until it fully stopped, and the engine shut off by itself, which almost got me into an accident. I contacted toyota and they…

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 toyota sienna. While driving, the engine oil cooler pipe burst and spewed oil all over the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle's rear window was completely covered with oil. The manufacturer extended the warranty; however, the contact was not covered since the vehicle exceeded the warranty. Buckeye toyota ([redacted], lancaster, oh 43130, [redacted]) stated that they could not authorize a…
