    Electronic Stability Control

While driving at or below the speed limit, under dry conditions, on curvy roads, the vsc dash light comes on and engages with beeping and automatic braking. The rapid deceleration and skidding, as the tires lock-up, makes control of the vehicle difficult and cars following must panic brake to avoid rear-ending my vehicle. Increasing occurrences over the past year.

When driving at speeds of 38 mph or more and turning the steering wheel/tires, the vsc warning alarm will go off. When this happens, the cars automatically brakes. This happens when there are no problems with the driving conditions. The severity of the braking and length of alarm vary. It is especially problematic on tight turns. It does not matter whether you are going uphill, downhill, or turning on a flat road.…

Driving 35-55 mph and going around (usually) a left curve on the highway or interstate, van suddenly brakes, swerves, and traction control/vehicle stability control light pops on. Whole episode lasts a second or two, then its fine. It wont happen again for the duration of the trip. I only drive the van on weekends, and it has happened three times in the past two weeks. It has nearly caused a serious accident.

    Electronic Stability Control

At random speeds, on curves and straightaways, the traction lights alarms and engages the brakes. This seems really dangerous. Our mechanic doesn't know what is the cause or how to fix it.

Electronic Stability Control · Service Brakes · Steering

While driving on a slope, incline or decline, my traction control light ( car with squiggles behind it) comes on, a loud 'beep beep beep' sounds, and my car brakes on its own. Always happens while in motion. Highway driving. 90 percent of the time while on an incline or decline. It scares the heck out of you causing an unsafe condition. Additionally, when the brakes apply, it pulls you out of your lane. The first…
