My 2014 toyota sienna does not have the dashboard instrument lights on when driving. The instrument cluster is hooded to shield it from sunlight. There is no illumination of the main dashboard display-speed, rpm, temperature and fuel level when light control is at off or drl (driving lights) position. I went to dealer and service man said that is the way it is and another new vehicle on their lot was the same. The gauge lights are on but dim in parking and headlight position.
