Both sliding passenger doors and rear hatch door will break and not open. We have had at least 8 incidents of doors not opening, and latches breaking not allowing access to vehicle. On one occasion, door was jammed in the open position and not able to close completely. Toyota advised door cable in door was too long and dealer took care of it and there should be no more problems. Problem recurred on 3/6/08. *tr

The left sliding door stopped halfway when closing and moved back to fully open position. Repeated tries did not work and so had to manually close the door. After that the pwr door icon on the display lit up showing a problem with the power door. Taking to the mechanic revealed that the motor is defective. The vehicle has only 31,500 miles. *tr
