    The power liftgate opens then closes automatically. As it closes it does not retract upon like pressure and can cause injury by closing in on the person accessing the trunk. This occurs when the temperature drops below 40f. My wife was hit by the closing lift gate and hurt her arm. *tr

    While loading my kids at a parking lot, we opened the rear hatch with the remote control, it opened completely and when one of the kids was putting his stuff in the back the hatch started to close to the point in which it wouldn't stop.
