My wife was driving our 2005 toyota sienna van to pick up our son from school. As she was pulling into a parking space, she pushed on the brakes to slow down further. However, the van did not slow down, but instead accelerated, causing the van to hit a tree at the end of the parking space and the car on the other side of the tree.
